Mr. Tone THE Studio House

I've been through hell and back in my life. I've slept in cars and I've gone to bed hungry, but through it all I had a strong woman behind me. See, living in Oakland, it's hard to see the benefit of staying on the straight in narrow, especially when u have bills to pay and a child to feed. I made some poor decions in the name of money, but God protected me from having to pay the ultimate price.
In 2008 I moved my daughter and pregnant wife out of Oakland. We settled in Rancho Cordova and I decided that it was time to make some changes. I was determined to recieve my high school diploma before my son was born. The odds were against me, but I wouldn't let that stop me. I went to adult school both day and night so that I could earn the credits needed to obtain my diploma only two months later. From then on I was ready. I enrolled in Heald College and began to study. But soon I began to fall into the same pattern that I had been victim to in high school. I didn't want do my homework, and I barley paid attention in class.
At home things were different, I was comfortable and had a lot of respect from the people in my nieghborhood. I had tons of friends who came over to kick it. We had crazy wild party nights (after the kids were a sleep of course) it was good times, I didn't need anything else.
Until one day a young friend of mine, Paul Bentley, intoduced me to the program fruity loops. We downloaded it on to my old rigity lab top and we began to play. We started off slow but eventually our sound started to improve. I had discovered a new passion and began to invest in it. Somethings came free, I never had to pay for a single computer, the ulitmate investment came when we (my wife, Paul, and I) went to Guitar Center and purchased a Protools package and an MPK49 midi keyboard controller. We were on fire. That was a little over a year ago, since then we've opened our doors to different artists in the nieghborhood. Some have stayed some have gone, but for those who stick with us, we're taking them to the top.
